Section 38 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Land Revenue (Disposal of Government Lands) Rules, 1971
38. Grant of land for religious purposes.
- No unoccupied land shall be granted for construction of temples, churches, synagogues, mosques, or for any other religious purpose nor permission under section 32 shall be granted for change of user of land for construction of such buildings in any occupied land except with the previous sanction of the Government.
