Section 5(1)(a) in The Dentists (Ethical Conduct) (Maharashtra) Rules, 1965

(a)Employment by a dentist in his professional practice or allowing by him any assistant (not being dental hygienist or a dental mechanic) whose name is not registered either in the Dentist's Register or in a Medical Register, to practice dentistry as defined in clause (d) of section 2;
