29. Physical fitness.
(1)No person shall be recruited to the establishment unless he/she be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his official duties. Before a candidate recruited directly is finally approved for appointment to the establishment he shall be required to produce a medical certificate of physical fitness.(2)If the post of Chief Documentation Officer-cum-Chief Librarian is filled by direct recruitment the candidate shall before he is finally approved for appointment, be required to pass the examination by the Medical Board as may be prescribed by the appointing authority.
