Section 12 in THE INSTITUTE OF TEACHING AND RESEARCH IN AYURVEDA ACT, 2020
12. Objects of Institute.—The objects of the Institute shall be—
(a)to develop patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in Ayurveda and Pharmacy so as to demonstrate a high standard of such medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions of Ayurveda in India;(b)to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of Ayurveda including Pharmacy;(c)to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate education to meet the country’s needs for specialists and medical teachers in Ayurveda;(d)to make an in-depth study and research in the field of Ayurveda.
