Section 7(1) in The Nirma University of Science and Technology Act, 2003
(1)The Patron Trustee of the Nirma Education and Research Foundation, Ahmedabad shall be the President of the University for life of his pleasure. He may at his pleasure designate any other permanent Trustee of the Trust to be the President of the University.
