Section 12(1) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(1)In every case involving a juvenile in conflict with law, the police shall submit to the Board, a report containing social background of the juvenile and circumstances of the alleged offence along with the copy of the age memo, personal search memo, as prescribed in the format annexed as Form-11 within 7 days of filing of FIR.
