SHRI BAIJAYANT PANDA (KENDRAPARA): I beg to move for leave to introduce a Bill to prohibit unsolicited telephone calls by business promoters or individuals to persons not desirous of receiving such calls and for the protection of individual privacy of citizens and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. MR. DEPUTY-SPEAKER: The question is:
“That leave be granted to introduce a Bill to prohibit unsolicited telephone calls by business promoters or individuals to persons not desirous of receiving such calls and for the protection of individual privacy of citizens and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.” The motion was adopted.
