Section 2(f) in Bihar Preservation and Improvement of Animals Act, 1955
(f)"contagious disease" means rinderpest (that is to say, the disease commonly known as cattle plague), anthrax, hemorrhagic septicaemia, black-quarter, foot-and mouth disease, rabies and includes such other diseases as may be declared by the State Government by notification in the official Gazette to be contagious diseases for the purposes of this Act;
