The learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks time to prepare a compilation of decisions and place on record the nature of the proceedings in light of the fact that what is filed by the Petitioner is a civil writ petition and not a criminal writ petition. At the request of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, stand over to 13 March 2023.
2. The Petitioner will also place on record the details of R.A. No. 468 of 2022 which is referred to in the application filed by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence for judicial custody of the Respondent therein in the Court of the Chief Metropolitan Trupti 2 20-wp-1766-2023.doc Magistrate, Mumbai and how the same is relevant in the case of the Petitioner.
Later on The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner be granted leave to convert the petition to criminal writ petition. Leave granted to amend. Thereafter, the Registry will assign suitable number.
