Section 626(2) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(2)Upon the exclusion of any area from the limits of Calcutta under section 625, this Act or any rules, regulations or orders made or any directions issued or any powers conferred under this Act shall cease to apply to such area.
