Section 8(1) in The First Statutes of Indian Institute of Technology Goa, 2017
(1)The Building and Works Committee, hereafter referred to as `Committee', consisting of not less than five and not more than seven members as may be appointed by the Board, including Director as an ex-officio member. The committee shall also be an authority within the meaning of section 10 of the Act. The Director shall be the Chairman of the Committee.
