Section 25(l) in The U.P. Gram Sabha, Gram Panchayat and Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti Manual
(l)it shall be the duty of Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti to preserve or protect from damage, mis-appropriation on wrongful occupation, all properties vested in it under Section 117, U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, including vacant land and land over which it is entitled to take possession under the Act and to manage and maintain all such property and land in its possession; and
