Section 14(1) in The Assam Engineering (Irrigation Department) Service Rules, 1978
(1)On receipt of the list for the posts of Assistant Engineer from the Board, the Appointing Authority shall forward it to the Commission together with the information and documents as referred to in sub-rule (2) of Rule 13 with a request to approve the list.
