Section 10(1) in The Multi-State Co-Operative Societies Rules, 2002
(1)The name of a multi-State co-operative society may be changed after following the procedure given in section 11, however, that it does not refer to any caste or religious denomination and is not inconsistent with the objects of the multi-State co-operative society.
