Section 2(5) in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975
(5)"domestic sewage" means waste water from residences, boarding and lodging houses, hostels, hotels, public places, offices and all other such establishments as are not a part of any trade or industry, and arising out of personal and normal human activities such as drinking, bathing, ablution, washing and cooking;
