Section 1134(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The Cash Chest shall be in charge of the Head Clerk (who is the cashier for the purposes of all accounts rules) except in the districts of 24-Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan, Murshidabad and Midnapore where post of a cashier has been specially sanctioned.
