Section 2(1a) in The (Bihar State) Aid to Industries Act, 1956
(1a)[ "Cottage industry means an industry that is carried on with a capital outlay of one lakh of rupees or less by a Co-operative Society or an individual himself or with the help of the members of his family and labourers and includes sericulture, pisciculture, horticulture, dairy farming, poultry farming, bee-keeping and lac making] [Inserted by Bihar Act 14 of 1964.];
