(1)This Act may be cited as the [Madhya Pradesh] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 23 of 1958, for 'the Central Provinces and Berar'.] Public Health Act, 1949.(2)It [extends] [This Act does not extend to merged territories by virtue of Paragraph 8 of the A.O. 1950.] to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
