17. The Academic Senate Regulations.
- The Academic Senate shall be the academic body of the University and it shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the regulations made thereunder shall have the power of control and general regulation and be responsible for the maintenance of standards of education, instruction and examination of the University and shall exercise such other powers and functions as may be conferred or imposed upon it by the Act or their regulations. It shall have the right to advise the Executive Committee on all academic matters.
