07/06.02.2020. Mr. Siddhartha Jyoti Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to mediation held before the Mediator, Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, Ranchi, the matter has been settled. He further submits that in view of mediation, the amount in question has been received by the petitioner.

The letter of the Mediator, JHALSA dated 01.05.2017 is on record, wherein, it is stated that mediation is successful and the dispute between the parties has been settled.

Mr. D.C. Mishra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State accepts this position.

In view of the above fact and considering the submission of the learned counsel for the parties, it transpires that this matter has now become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
