Section 50(1) in West Bengal Societies Registration Rules, 1963
(1)The managing committee shall meet for the transaction of the business of the society at least once in every two months and as more often as may be necessary:Provided that if there be no business to be laid before the managing committee, the secretary with the approval of the chairman instead of calling the meeting, shall give notice of the fact to each director.
