                     direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the
                     guise of enquiry, inspection or raids at the petitioner's premises
                     situated at No.27/17,X Block, 5th Street, Near Town Park, Anna Nagar,
                     Chennai 600 040 in connection with F.I.R registered in Crime No.976 of
                     2020 dated 11.11.2020.

                                                       ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.976 of 2020 and the investigation is pending before the 2nd respondent, the Inspector of Police, K4 Police Station, AnnaNagar, Chennai.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of “Not to harass” will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.

5. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
