Section 10(3) in Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Rules, 1976
(3)No meeting of the committee shall be conducted unless-(a)at least seven clear days' notice in writing has been given to the members of the Committee; and(b)at least fifty per cent of the total number of members of the committee are present.Explanation. - If the total number of the members of the committee is an odd number, the next higher even numbers shall be taken for the purpose of this sub-rule.
