Section 1 in THE CONSTITUTION (THIRTY-SIXTH AMENDMENT) ACT, 1975
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1)This Act may be called the Constitution (Thirty-sixth Amendment) Act, 1975.(2)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the date_668 on which the Bill for this Act [introduced in the House of the People as the Constitution (Thirty-eighth Amendment) Bill, 1975], as passed by the House of the People, is passed by the Council of States.
