Section 20 in Assam Non-Government Educational Institutions (Regulation of Fees) Act, 2018
20. Members of Committee, officers and employees to be public servant.
- All the members of the Fee Regulatory Committee or the Fee Revision Committee, as the case may be, and the officers and employees while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder, be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Act No. 45 of 1860).
