Section 18(6) in The Assam Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965
(6)The provisions of sub-rules (4) and (5) shall, so far as may be, apply to election authorities or bodies save in respect of Government servant required or permitted by or under any law or order of Government for the time being in force to be a candidate at such elections.
