Section 917(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)A leave register shall be kept in B.P. Form No. 177. When an application for leave, extension or commutation of leave is submitted by a subordinate officer, the Reserve Officer shall carefully check the service records of the applicant, and certify on the application : -(i)what kind and period of leave the applicant has previously taken with dates,(ii)whether the leave applied for is admissible,(iii)the period of each kind of leave admissible, if more than one kind is concerned,(iv)the salary admissible during each kind of leave.
