86. Annual reports, statistics and returns.
(1)The Board shall, before such date and in such form as may be prescribed by rules, submit to the State Government an annual report upon such matters as may be prescribed by rules, and the State Government shall cause such report to be published in the official Gazette.(2)Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Board shall as soon as may be after the end of each financial year, prepare and submit to the State Government in such form as may be prescribed by [regulations] [Substituted by Act 6 of 1966 w.e.f. 17.3.1966.] a report giving an account of its activities during the previous financial year and the report shall also give an account of the activities, if any, which are likely to be undertaken by the Board in the next financial year; and the State Government shall cause every such report to be laid before the State Legislature as soon as may be after it is received by the State Government.(3)The Board shall furnish to the State Government at such times and in such form and manner [x x x] [Omitted by Act 6 of 1966 w.e.f. 17.3.1966.] as the State Government may direct, such statistics and returns, and such particulars in regard to any proposed or existing scheme, as the State Government may from time to time require.
