Section 67 in The M.P. Co-Operative Societies Act, 1960

67. Procedure for settlement of disputes and power of Registrar, his nominee or board of nominees.

(1)The Registrar or his nominee or board of nominees shall have the power of making interlocutory orders including grant of a temporary injunction. In exercising this power, the Registrar or his nominee or board of nominees, as the case may be, shall follow the procedure laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (V of 1908), for the purpose of making such orders and granting an injuction.
(2)No party shall be represented at the hearing of the dispute by any legal practitioner, except with the permission of the Registrar or his nominee or board of nominees, as the case may be :Provided that where the permission is so granted, the other party to the dispute shall be entitled to be represented by a legal practitioner.
(3)[ The Registrar or his nominee, as the case may be, shall record a note in Hindi of the evidence of the parties and witnesses who attend and upon the evidence so recorded and after consideration of any documentary evidence produced by either side, shall give a decision or award, as the case may be, which shall be reduced in writing. If the applicant duly summoned is absent, the case may be dismissed in default. If the non-applicant is absent, the case can be decided ex-parte. In cases, where three nominees are appointed, the majority shall prevail :Provided that where a dispute has been decided against any party in default and if such party satisfies the Registrar within thirty days from the date of such default, that there was sufficient cause for its non-appearance, the Registrar shall make an order setting aside the decision and shall appoint a date for proceeding with case.] [Substituted by M.P.
