(3)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), any statutes, ordinances and regulations made under the said Act and in force on the appointed day, shall, in so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue to be in force until they are repealed by statutes, ordinances and regulations made under this Act.
