Section 18(f) in The Dibrugarh University Act, 1965
(f)to appoint, from time to time, the officer and teachers of the University, the Principals and Teachers of constituent colleges ; the Librarian of the University, after considering the recommendations of the Selections Committee and other Committees, as the case may be, constituted for the purpose.
