Section 5(1) in Andhra Pradesh Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act, 2002
(1)The State Government may appoint a District Registrar of Marriages for each District and such number of Additional Deputy Registrars of Marriages as it thinks fit, who shall subject to the general control supervision and directions of the District Registrar, discharge such functions of the District Registrar as the District Registrar may, from time to time, authorise them to discharge;
