45. Powers and functions of Secretary.
(1)The Secretary shall be the Secretary to the Board of Councillors and the Municipal Accounts Committee and of other committees, if any, and shall exercise such powers, and shall discharge such functions, as are conferred on him by or under this Act or as may be assigned to him by the Commissioner.(2)The Secretary shall be responsible for the custody of all papers and documents connected with the proceedings of the Board of Councillors and the Municipal Accounts Committee and of other committees, if any, and shall preserve the same in such manner, and for such period, as may be determined by regulations.
