(2)Ordinarily, there shall be a Gram Sabha for a "village" as defined in sub-section (1) :Provided that if the member of the Gram Sabha so desired, more than one Gram Sabha may be constituted in a village, in such manner as may be prescribed, and each such Gram Sabha may consist of a habitation or a group of habitation or a hamlet or a group of hamlets comprising a community and managing its affairs in accordance with tradition and customs.
