Section 35(iv) in Tamil Nadu Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017
(iv)the Child Welfare Officer shall be responsible for nutritious food (as advised by a dietitian who shall take into consideration the type of food products that are freely available in the area), safe drinking water, proper sanitary and hygienic conditions in the institution, proper health care of children;
