(2)For the purpose of sub-section (1), each panchayat area shall be divided into wards in such manner as the State Government, may determine.Provided that the number of members to be elected in each ward shall, as far as practicable, be in the same proportion to the total number of persons to be elected for the Gram Panchayats as the population of the wards bear to the total population of the Panchayat area.
