Section 96(1) in U.P. Zila Panchayats Service Rules, 1970
(1)No servant shall be member of, or be otherwise associated with any political party or any organization, which takes part in politics, nor shall he take part in, subscribe in aid of, or assist in any other manner, any movement or organisation which is, or which tends directly or indirectly to be, subversive of the Central or a State Government or in the interest of the [Zila Panchayat] [Substituted by U.
