Section 10(6) in Majuli University of Culture Act, 2017
(6)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the Vice-Chancellor shall have the power, -(a)to make appointment to posts of non-teaching employees or to such posts as may be prescribed and specify their duties;(b)to suspend, dismiss or otherwise punish any non-teaching employee of the University; and(c)to take disciplinary action against students of the University.
