Section 37(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Water And Sanitation Authority Act, 1966
(1)For calculating the amount payable by the owner of any premises for consumption of water, the Authority may determine the quantity consumed on the basis of readings recorded by a meter attached to the premises.
