Section 31(3) in The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act, 1989

(3)The Head of the University school in the subjects shall be the Chairman of the Board of Studies:Provided that, if there is no school of the University in that subject, the Chairman shall be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
