1A. [ Malayalam and English to be the official languages of the State. [Inserted by Kerala Official Language (Legislation) Amendment Act, 1973 (Act 15 of 1973).] - Without prejudice to the provisions of articles 346 and 347 of the Constitution, Malayalam and English shall be the languages to be used for all or any of the official purposes of the State.
