Section 8(2) in The Hazardous Wastes (Management, Handling And Transboundary movement) Rules, 2008*
(2)The Central Pollution Control Board, on being satisfied that the applicant is utilizing environmentally sound technologies and possesses adequate technical capabilities, requisite facilities, and equipment to recycle, reprocess or reuse hazardous wastes, may grant registration to such applicants stipulating therein necessary conditions for carrying out safe operations in the authorised place only.
