Section 27(a) in Prevention Of Collision On National Waterways Regulations, 2002
(a)A vessel not under command shall exhibit(i)Two alround red lights in a vertical line where they can best be seen by night.(ii)Two balls or similar shapes in a vertical line by day.(iii)When making way through the water; side lights and a stern light in addition to the lights prescribed in (i).
