97. Power of Deputy Collector as to production of documents and attendance of witnesses.
- For the purposes of any inquiry under this Act, the Deputy Collector shall, in addition to the powers specifically conferred upon him by this Act, have the powers conferred by Chapters X and XIV of the [Code of Civil Procedure] [Act 14 of 1882 has been repealed and re-enacted by the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.] for compelling the production of documents and enforcing the attendance of witnesses.
