10. Appointment of Commissioner.
(1)The State Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government, to be the Commissioner of the Authority.(2)The Commissioner shall receive such salary and other allowances as the State Government may, from time to time determine. The conditions of service of the Commissioner shall be governed by the Government in accordance with the Karnataka Civil Services Rules.(3)The State Government may, from time to time, grant leave of absence for such period as it thinks fit to the Commissioner.
