29. Penalty for contravention of the provisions of the Act.
- Whoever contravenes the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder shall, if no other penalty is elsewhere provided by or under this Act for such contravention, be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees:Provided that, the total amount of fine shall not exceed two thousand rupees per worker employed.
