(4)A Member shall be a person of ability, integrity and standing who has knowledge and experience of not less than fifteen years in the field of general administration, medical sciences, law or is a retired eminent athlete.Explanation.—For the purposes of this sub-section, the term "eminent athlete" means a sportsperson who has been conferred with a national sports award or Padma award for his outstanding contribution to the development of national sports in terms of medals won in international events.
