1. The Status Report has been handed over today in the Court which be taken be record.

2. Interim Bail Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed for grant of interim Bail for a period of eight weeks.

3. It is submitted in the Application that an extradition request was received by Government of India and warrants were issued by Berkshire, East Magistrate Court at United Kingdom against the Petitioner. The learned ACMM vide Order dated 05.01.2016 directed Assistant Director, CBI Interpol, New Delhi to execute the warrants under Section 6 of the Extradition Act, 1962 against the Petitioner. 4. In his detailed interim Bail Application the entire details of extradition proceedings have been detailed. The interim Bail is sought on the ground that his mother is living alone in Punjab. She is in frail condition and unable to manage her daily activities. She has been diagnosed with Adenomatous Nodule/Goitre, a condition characterized by abnormal growth in the thyroid gland. This nodule has developed into a tumour within her thyroid posing a significant health risk. The medical experts have indicated that such tumours carry a high probability of turning into cancerous growth, necessitating immediate and continuous medical attention. Because of her deteriorating health and progressive nature of the medical condition, regular monitoring, timely medical intervention and potential surgical procedures are essential to prevent any malignant transformation. The Petitioner is the only available family member to support her with the necessary care and supervision as there is no other close relative to assist her. The bail is sought on this compassionate ground. He undertakes to abide by the terms of the interim Bail. Though there are other grounds stated but learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he is seeking interim Bail purely on the medical condition of his mother.

5. It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the mother has got admitted in emergency in the Hospital yesterday night.

6. Learned counsel on behalf of the Respondent has opposed the interim Bail Application on the ground of gravity of the offence and the situation involved herein i.e this extradition request but has This is a digitally signed order.

7. Submissions heard and record perused.

8. Though the medical condition of the mother has been verified but the future line of treatment is not indicated in any of the medical documents. Consequently, he is granted interim bail for one week from the date of release on the following conditions which may be considered for further extension on submission of further documents detailing the line of treatment:-

a. Applicant shall appear before the Court as and when the matter is taken up for hearing;
b. Applicant shall provide his mobile number and also the mobile number of his surety to the IO concerned, both of which shall be kept in working condition at all times;
c. Applicant shall inform the IO and the Jail Superintendent the address where he shall be available;
d. Applicant shall not indulge in any criminal activity and shall not communicate with or come in contact with the witnesses. e. The Applicant shall appear on alternate day at the local police station, Civil Lines, Amritsar between 11 AM to 12 Noon.

9. Upon expiry of period of one week, as stated above, the applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.

10. The Application is disposed of.
