(c)any sum paid by such person-(i)to effect an insurance on the life of such person or on the life of a wife or husband or minor child of such person or in respect of a contract for a deferred annuity on the life of such person or on the life of a wife or husband or minor child of such person;(ii)where the assessee is a Hindu undivided family, to effect an insurance on the life of any male member of such family or of the wife or a minor child of any such member :
