Section 254(iii) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994
(iii)any reference to the Madras Local Boards Act, 1920 (Madras Act XIV of 1920), shall be deemed to be a reference to the Tamil Nadu District Boards Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act XIV of 1920), the Tamil Nadu Village Panchayats Act, 1950 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1950), the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1958 (Tamil Nadu Act XXXV of 1958) and the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994);
